WEBSPEC provides a Web-based facility for simulating spectra for a variety of combinations of missions and instrument using several different physical models. It utilizes XSPEC and thus has similar inputs and produces similar results as an XSPEC fit does.
There are currently two ways to run WEBSPEC. First, there is the initial WEBSPEC page, which provides a straightforward means for specifying the desired model. The more experienced XSPEC user may wish to use the more advanced WEBSPEC interface.
