At 21:13:34 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 201017 ***A*** (trigger=1000665). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 135.774, -40.448 which is
RA(J2000) = 09h 03m 06s
Dec(J2000) = -40d 26' 53"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~941 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~2 sec after the trigger.
