At 03:35:24 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 221215 ***A*** (trigger=1144538). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 54.789, -27.433 which is
RA(J2000) = 03h 39m 09s
Dec(J2000) = -27d 25' 57"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~27401 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~167 sec after the trigger.
