At 15:33:21 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 230116 ***A*** (trigger=1149250). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 223.463, -16.871 which is
RA(J2000) = 14h 53m 51s
Dec(J2000) = -16d 52' 16"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~882 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~6 sec after the trigger.
