At 20:08:09 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 230311 ***A*** (trigger=1159439). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 83.514, +22.236 which is
RA(J2000) = 05h 34m 03s
Dec(J2000) = +22d 14' 11"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~902 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~15 sec after the trigger.
