At 11:23:51 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 230805 ***A*** (trigger=1183217). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 207.747, +31.185 which is
RA(J2000) = 13h 50m 59s
Dec(J2000) = +31d 11' 05"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~1746 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~2 sec after the trigger.
