At 16:08:48 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 230816 ***A*** (trigger=1185673). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 328.375, +37.828 which is
       RA(J2000) = 21h 53m 30s
       Dec(J2000) = +37d 49' 43"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~1910 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~0 sec after the trigger.
