At 02:24:24 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 230824 ***A*** (trigger=1186908). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 83.533, +21.609 which is
RA(J2000) = 05h 34m 08s
Dec(J2000) = +21d 36' 33"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~1187 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~6 sec after the trigger.
