At 16:09:27 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 240117 ***A*** (trigger=1209401). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 299.412, +34.676 which is
RA(J2000) = 19h 57m 39s
Dec(J2000) = +34d 40' 33"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~1085 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~3 sec after the trigger.
