At 18:20:07 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 240217 ***A*** (trigger=1215859). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 244.735, -15.484 which is
RA(J2000) = 16h 18m 56s
Dec(J2000) = -15d 29' 00"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~1006 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~171 sec after the trigger.
