At 05:17:51 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 240227 ***A*** (trigger=1217732). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 300.310, +35.291 which is
RA(J2000) = 20h 01m 14s
Dec(J2000) = +35d 17' 26"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~937 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~0 sec after the trigger.
