At 05:40:31 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 240227 ***A*** (trigger=1217733). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 84.243, +21.777 which is
       RA(J2000) = 05h 36m 58s
       Dec(J2000) = +21d 46' 38"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~1179 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~2 sec after the trigger.
