At 18:15:18 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 240229 ***A*** (trigger=1218081). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 244.693, -15.650 which is
RA(J2000) = 16h 18m 46s
Dec(J2000) = -15d 38' 58"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~855 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~183 sec after the trigger.
