At 14:28:54 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 240805 ***A*** (trigger=1246989). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 254.239, +18.323 which is
RA(J2000) = 16h 56m 57s
Dec(J2000) = +18d 19' 24"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~2830 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~16 sec after the trigger.
