At 10:59:46 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 241209 ***A*** (trigger=1273106). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 190.111, -2.879 which is
RA(J2000) = 12h 40m 27s
Dec(J2000) = -02d 52' 42"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~3164 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~0 sec after the trigger.
