At 01:36:15 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 241229 ***A*** (trigger=1277428). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 274.149, +74.714 which is
RA(J2000) = 18h 16m 36s
Dec(J2000) = +74d 42' 50"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~3597 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~0 sec after the trigger.
