At 03:47:36 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 161218 ***A*** (trigger=727288). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 245.257, -4.114 which is
       RA(J2000) = 16h 21m 02s
       Dec(J2000) = -04d 06' 48"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~18292 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~1 sec after the trigger.
