At 06:12:49 UT, the Swift Burst Alert Telescope (BAT) triggered and
located GRB 190226 ***A*** (trigger=890732). Swift slewed immediately to the burst.
The BAT on-board calculated location is
RA, Dec 247.821, -47.792 which is
RA(J2000) = 16h 31m 17s
Dec(J2000) = -47d 47' 30"
with an uncertainty of 3 arcmin (radius, 90% containment, including
systematic uncertainty). The BAT light curve showed a [**double-peaked**]
structure with a duration of about TTT sec. The peak count rate
was ~1060 counts/sec (15-350 keV), at ~7 sec after the trigger.
