S.L. Gibson (U. Leicester) and F.E. Marshall (NASA/GSFC) for the Swift team
Vianello et al. (GCN Circ. 19158) reported the GRB detection. Table 1 contains the best reported positions from Swift.
Table 2 is a summary of GCN Circulars about this GRB from observatories other than Swift.
BAT did not observe this burst.
XRT results are not available.
The Swift/UVOT began settled observations
(Marshall and Maselli GCN Circ. 19168) of the field of GRB 160310A 40247 s after the LAT trigger (Vianello et al., GCN Circ. 19158).
No source is detected in the initial UVOT exposures at a position consistent with the position of the possible XRT afterglow (Gibson et al., GCN Circ. 19162) or the possible optical counterpart (Kruehler et al., GCN Circ. 19164).
Table 3 gives preliminary
magnitudes using the UVOT photometric system
(Breeveld et al. 2011, AIP Conf. Proc., 1358, 373).
No correction has been made for the expected extinction in the Milky Way
corresponding to a reddening of
Figure 1. The BAT light curve is not available.

Table 3. UVOT observations reported by Marshall and Maselli (GCN Circ. 19168). The start and stop times of the exposures are given in seconds since the BAT trigger. The preliminary 3-σ upper limits are given. No correction has been made for extinction in the Milky Way.
