report on behalf of the Swift/UVOT team:

The Swift/UVOT began settled observations of the field of GRB 220101
90 s after the BAT trigger (***Author*** et al., GCN Circ. ????).
No optical afterglow consistent with the XRT position
*** POSITION REFERENCE is GCN_Notice ***
is detected in the initial UVOT exposures.
Preliminary 3-sigma upper limits using the UVOT photometric system
(Breeveld et al. 2011, AIP Conf. Proc. 1358, 373) for the first
finding chart (FC) exposure and subsequent exposures are:

The Swift/UVOT began settled observations of the field of GRB 220101

A source consistent with the XRT position

is detected in the initial UVOT exposures.

The preliminary UVOT position is:
    RA  (J2000) =  00:05:24.80 =   1.35334 (deg.)
    Dec (J2000) = +31:46:08.4  =  31.76899 (deg.)
with an estimated uncertainty of 0.42 arc sec. (radius, 90% confidence).

Preliminary detections and 3-sigma upper limits using the UVOT photometric system
(Breeveld et al. 2011, AIP Conf. Proc. 1358, 373) for the early exposures are:
