D. Gropp (PSU) and A. Y. Lien (GSFC/UMBC) report on behalf of the Swift/UVOT team: The Swift/UVOT began settled observations of the field of GRB 180111A 98 s after the BAT trigger (Lien et al., GCN Circ. 22318). No optical afterglow consistent with the XRT position (Evans et al. GCN Circ. 22319) is detected in the initial UVOT exposures. Preliminary 3-sigma upper limits using the UVOT photometric system (Breeveld et al. 2011, AIP Conf. Proc. 1358, 373) for the first finding chart (FC) exposure and subsequent exposures are: Filter T_start(s) T_stop(s) Exp(s) Mag white_FC 98 247 147 >18.5 u_FC 310 560 246 >18.0 white 98 6216 555 >18.8 v 4995 5195 197 >17.9 b 4380 6017 393 >18.7 u 310 5809 639 >18.4 w1 3970 5605 393 >18.7 m2 5200 5400 197 >18.5 w2 4790 6421 393 >18.8 The magnitudes in the table are not corrected for the Galactic extinction due to the reddening of E(B-V) = 0.01 in the direction of the burst (Schlegel et al. 1998). =========== Draft Detection Circular ======== GRB 180111A: Swift/UVOT Detection J.
